Anonymous Commenter's

Last night I received an anonymous comment on THIS post that I found rather amusing, so I thought I would share it with everyone.

Anonymous wrote: "jesus your blog is so cheezy! i'm sorry but it's so gushy. no one's life is like that. write like a normal person. your blog is almost offensive."

First I find this funny after I just wrote about puking my guts out all weekend and my pregnant stomach shrinking. That definitely is gushy. Second, who the hell is this person to judge my life or anyone else's life?

Then, I felt bad...sorry, in fact for the anonymous commenter. Sorry that they must be so miserable in their own lives that they are unable to be happy for someone else. I have a pretty great life. It hasn't always been this way. My relationship with my husband hasn't always been this good and we have worked damn hard to get where we are. For that I am proud. And guess what, I am damn happy as well. Most of my posts are upbeat and happy because I AM! What a concept huh? Clearly said person isn't so happy in their own life. Clearly said person has no idea what it is like to be this happy and for that I feel bad for them. I have everything to be thankful and happy for. I have a wonderful husband, two amazingly great step-children whom I adore more than anything, and a beautiful little girl growing inside me that I will be meeting in just about two months. I could see where that could be OFFENSIVE.

It cracks me up that there are so many anonymous commenter's out there who won't leave a name or if they do it is some made up nickname trying to be funny but is something only they get and is over looked by all of us in the blogging world. It also cracks me up that these commenter's are stupid enough to think that we don't have trackers on our sites and can figure out their IP addresses. Not only that, but there are some people that have other Internet pages that show what time they make changes and it is funny when the change coincides with the time they are leaving the anonymous comments. Us bloggers aren't as stupid as you think we are. What you don't realize is that we don't give a rats ass what you think or what you have to say and it isn't going to change how we blog or what we write. I know I have said it before and there are many others, if you don't like what you are reading, DON'T READ IT. No one is holding a gun to your head. If you have something to say OWN it. Don't be a pussy and hide behind your words.

That being said, I am a normal person and write like one. I write about the things in my life that are important and make me happy. I write about things that come up here and there, but they are few and far between and I am lucky for that. So if my blog is "cheezy" because I write about my family and how happy I am and what a great pregnancy I am having, so be it. I will "cheez" it up any day of the week. I would take that any day over being miserable and lonely and trying to get to someone by leaving a ridiculous comment. Anonymous commenter, I hope you find some happiness in your own life and stop trying to bring other people down because you are unhappy.

YOU TOLD THEM!!!

you are absolutely right. whomever felt the need to tell you how cheesy you were is a riduculous and miserable human being.

you make a very good point in saying that its BULLSHIT they hide by being anonymous. i bet they wouldn't have all that much to say if they didn't think that they were shielded by anonymity, but their too stupid to even realize how easy it is to figure out who people are by IP addresses (i shouldn't talk though, lol, i just slightly figured this out recently)

i mean, being a stepmother, wife and pregnant woman on top of being a friend, daughter, employee, etc is no easy job. you could come on here every single day and bitch about how tired you may be, or how you wish you had some more time to yourself, or how you have so much cleaning to do, BUT YOU DON'T!

and THAT, my friend, is what makes you a marvelous mom (pun intended) as well as a very interesting blogger.

i commend you. i think it is a lot easier to post a blog complaining about your life, than to instead, be grateful on a regular basis. screw them. you are happy and you deserve your happiness. you also know that it takes work to be happy,

i'm a little pissed off about this anonymous blogger. i enjoy reading you, because its nice, for once in a long time, to hear from a kind person who just wants to share all the good and love she has on a daily basis. even in my shoes right now, i like to see how one day, things can turn out well, even if the road is tough to get there. so, anonymous, stop being a miserable, jealous person. get off of the computer, and go out in the world and find your own happiness. and if that doesn't work for you, make your own pity party blog and stop whining over others happiness! and that is coming from someone who has the tendancy to complain more than anything.

ugh. i'm glad you realize what an idiot they are. i just want you to know i love reading your "cheeziness!" keep it coming!

Screw that person. I love your blog and I love how happy you are. Why should we always have to look at the dark side of life? Why shouldn't we look at the beauty and grace? Yeah we all have troubles but I adore that you are such a positive person. You have found love, great kids, and a new baby. Screw that person. Dare them to show their name and I will comment on their blog. LOL

Amen to that! I hate those stupid anonymous commenters you must be so unhappy, miserable and jealous that they just don't like seeing anybody happy. I know it's hard to ignore them though. Last year I cried my eyes out numerous times about some stupid anonymous comment on my blog...
I like your blog and you deserve to be happy :)

I've had miserable anon commenters on my blog, too, and it's infuriating. As hard as it is, try to ignore them completely and don't give them the time of day. They just try to get to us! Your blog is great and you have such a following. :) You deserve to be as happy as you are. Keep it up!

Yeah, I think we ALL know who "anonymous" is...

So anonymous: being hateful and crappy to the people who should mean the most to you is not only childish, but it will grow to haunt you when you, and they, are older. You seriously need to grow up and change your focus from yourself to those people who SHOULD mean the most to you. Stop being hateful and childish. Those people all see through it and it only hurts those who should matter the most. Be thankful that they have caring people in their lives because you obviously can't get past the fact that your past life has moved on without you. It happens. Grow up and take care of those special people.

Okay, sorry. You can delete my comment, Steph. It is probably saying too much but I just really want "Anonymous" to realize that they are hurting other people that should matter MOST. Anonymous needs to let the wounds heal and move on. I pray that happens.

Anyway...your life is good because you appreciate what you have. Guess my life is "cheesy" too. I love it.

You couldn't have said it any better.

And you took the words right out of my mouth. If they don't like it or are "offended" by it THEN DON'T READ IT..........

You are sweet & sappy and even gushy.

Thats why I love you and read your blog every day.

I would be offended if you acted any other way.

ANONYMOUS: If you are reading these you should know that those of us that love this blog and the blogger are privied to the juicy details of her life. She just chooses not to share them with you and those of your kind.

Way to go Steph! Why is it the anonymous commenters are always the negative commenters? It's your blog and your words and your life. I think your blog is great! Keep it up!

I've had my share of anon asshat comments. I think they must lead very boring lives and are secretly jealous of our oh so glamorous ones. :)
