Productive Day

Today was a very productive day. Eli and I woke up this morning with no plans. When he asked me what I wanted to do, it popped into my head to go get some Christmas shopping done. Over a month ago, Eli and I got a ton accomplished where the kids were concerned. And today, we made even more head way. Now all that is left for them is some stocking stuffers. I feel so good having that done. The rest that we need to get will be easy to pick up here and there. Just little things that we see while out. I am so excited for them to open their gifts. I can't wait to see their cute little faces come Christmas morning (YAY we have them Christmas morning this year!!!!).

And they aren't the only ones that we have been shopping for. My best friends presents are nearly complete. I just need to get them each a couple more little things. Our parents have a little something already, we have a couple things for my sister. And we have ideas on what to get everyone else. For some reason, I feel very on top of things this year. This could be due to me not waiting until a couple weeks before Christmas and actually starting half ass early. It has really taken a lot of stress and pressure off me. I already have my Christmas cards even to give out. Oh and we bought the kids the cutest ornaments this year. In my family, my parents always got my sister and I an ornament every year so that when we moved away from home, our tree wouldn't be bare. And we are doing the same thing for Seth and Swae. They got a couple ornaments each last year. This year, they picked out the ones they wanted and we put their names on them and the year when we got home. It was pretty cute how excited they were about this.

Overall, my Saturday was productive and relaxing. We hung out with some friends and spent some great time together. It was just what I needed. Eli is out hanging out with a friend tonight and then tomorrow is for him and I. I think we are going to go see a movie and who knows what else. I just know that as long as we are together, it will be a blast because he is my best friend and I love spending time with him.

Oh and after having turned down a handful of invites to go to Fantasie's in Chocolate tonight, it has been decided that a big group of us will be going next year. I would have gone this year if I would have been more prepared for it, but next year will be better because I won't be pregnant and will be able to enjoy a couple yummy cocktails. :)

I started Christmas shopping in August this year, so I'm pumped that I'm not waiting til the end of the year at the last minute too! Yay for us!

You are such an overachiever, LOL. I am, however, really, really ready to decorate for Christmas...so I can't really rag on you about that.
