25 weeks & 25 weeks 5 days

First I have to say that I am completely kicking myself in the ass. I didn't take actually belly shots on Thanksgiving, the day before or the day after. For this I can't get over. Reason being...there wasn't much of a difference from the week before. However, had I taken a picture on Thanksgiving (or the day before or after) I would have had a very clear representation of how my belly EXPLODED on just Saturday along (25 weeks).

Saturday I was out with my best friends all day. So they saw me first thing in the morning and were the last to see me when we were going to bed. They had been seeing my tummy ALL DAY. Something happened that day. Saturday, the tummy started out normal like it had been and then when I stood up from wrapping presents about 9p-10p…there was this actual real pregnant belly. At first I didn’t notice it. Tara did. She was like, “Wow Love, your belly looks bigger.” I didn’t really think anything of it at first…probably because I was so tired and I look down and kind of see the same thing all the time. I didn’t notice it myself until I went upstairs and saw an actual side shot of me in the mirror. My jaw just dropped. Tara was right, I had grown and just that day. I seriously was floored and made Kara take pictures of the proof. See for yourselves!

There is actually definition there on the side. I love it!!!! I am still so bummed that I don't have one from just a day or two earlier so that you all could see the HUGE difference. Oh and notice my nice new $10 pj bottoms from Old Navy! They are so freaking comfortable!
I don’t really see much difference in the shots from Saturday til today…which isn’t surprising since it has only been four days.

I really feel pregnant and I am just thrilled. I love that people look and they see that there really is a child growing inside me. Skylar is definitely growing and she is active all the time, which I can’t get enough of. I love feeling her movements and knowing that she is there, that our little girl is growing…cooking. I have noticed that she doesn’t like there being any pressure on my stomach. If I have my arms folded and laying on my tummy, she moves around until I move my arms. She does the same thing when Eli’s arms are around me. If I am leaning forward and work and my belly is touching the desk, she will squirm and kick. When I lean back to watch, she stops because there is no longer anything touching her domain. It’s too funny. You would think I was applying a ton of pounds or something.

The doctor’s appointment went well on Wednesday. I was able to bring Swae and Seth with me since Swae got out of school half day. I wanted them to be part of the experience. They are so excited and after hearing the heart beat, they are even more excited. It is adorable to hear Swae describe what she heard. I am right on track still. I have only gained around 10 pounds and she told me to expect to gain about a pound a week from here on out. I almost passed out hearing that. But whatever needs to happen to keep our little girl healthy! I am still enjoying every minute of being pregnant. Next appointment is on Christmas Eve and then the one in January they will do an ultrasound and check where my placenta is. So we are doing good!

You look so much bigger with your shirt covering your belly. I think it is so cute. Totally not "bigger" in a bad way!

Holy smokes you did pop out! I love it! It's kind of fun to watch you grow, it's been so long since my last I don't remember too much. How exciting!

You are too precious! And she probably doesn't like it because you don't have "extra" padding! (aka belly fat) lol.

I loved being prego and having a belly, too. My fave part was walking around in stores munching on chips, a cookie, etc. People would look at me and comment on how cute I was (while stuffing my face). lol. It's the best time, next to having your sweet baby out and in your arms. :) It all is SO wonderful!

You are sooooo cute!! And I can just see how happy you look. I loved that stage of pregnancy- no more morning sickness and not quite big enough yet to be uncomfortable. Enjoy it!
