Ouch

I'm not gonna lie, my left nipple hurts so freaking bad. And no amount of cream is helping. My goodness. My whole body goes tense and then HOT from the pain. She is so lucky I love her because this pain is terrible!!!!

Suck! I can only say that I am glad that we are awake for different reasons.

Watch out for mastis...i know i'm not spelling it right. But if it doesn't get better in a day, go see your doc.

OMG. I remember that feeling. Ouch. Our hospital had these awesome cool gel squares that stuck on your skin over your nipple and it was like instant relief!

Hope it gets better!

Oh I feel for you. The good thing is that it doesn't take long for them to toughen up.

Don't worry about mastitis unless you start running a fever and spots on your boob (not nipple) get hot and sore.

The nipple pain is normal. I told you about mine.

Maybe she isn't latching on correctly, have you talked to your lactation consultant? I had that so bad with Model, my toes would curl it hurt so bad. Then I had the consultant over to help her latch on and voila...so much better. Stick with it...it will get so easy after a while. If you can get through the first 4-6 weeks, the rest is easy.

I have no words of wisdom, other than find those gel pads that Nellie mentioned.

She's just beautiful, Stephanie. :)

hey... hope your nipples feel better. Trust me it will get better. If one hurts more than the other it is just them getting use to the nursing. Do you have any soothies? Put them in the freezer lol...

Sorry! Blah- It will be over in a few days though and you will be good to go! Promise! Also, I never used them but I guess some people find the cool gel pads soothing- I think someone else mentioned them.

Ohhh, I hope your boobie is feeling better. I remember, quite distinctively, trying to nurse Caleb when he was 2 weeks old, completely tense because it hurt SO EFFING BAD, and just crying. And he was crying because I was so tense. Gosh. That was a recessed memory.

Anyways, it should only take a couple days to get better, so I really do hope you are fine now!
