Two weeks ago today I gave birth to the most perfect, beautiful little girl. Two weeks ago I fell in love, a love that is completely
indescribable (other moms get it though). Two weeks ago my life changed and I couldn't be more happy. These last two weeks have been wonderful. I have enjoyed every minute of every day spent with her. Even the nipple pain is worth it! And yes, it is getting better. I am noticing that she is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time during the day. Just this morning she sat for a couple hours almost just looking around and enjoying her bouncer while I got ready and did some things before we left for the day. She is still doing excellent on her sleeping and for that I am so happy and thankful. She gets up once for the most part during the night - on a rare
occasion it is twice.
Today we had Skylar's two week check-up. Doctor is totally happy with her. She now weighs 7 pounds and is 20.5 inches. She is in the 80
th percentile for her head, 75% for her length and 25% for her weight. She is just a little peanut.

How adorable is she! At first I thought she looked a lot like Eli in the first picture...but then I see you in the second picture...either way she is beautiful!
