The past week I have been feeling like crap. I have had such a bad cold. I can't even remember the last time I have had a cold like this. It started with just a slight stuffy nose. It quickly turned into not being able to breathe, super runny nose, and very congested and tight chest. Come Thursday, I sounded like a man when I talked and was pretty miserable. Yesterday was definitely the worst day. As of last night it started to break up some and today I am coughing like crazy and it seems as though things are loosening up. But boy and I am sick of coughing!
Other than that, I have just been enjoying lots of Mommy and Skylar time because Eli has been out of town working since Thursday. I didn't work Friday night due to the nurse telling me I needed to get some rest. And she suggested me not work on Sunday either. So while I have been feeling crappy, I have been enjoying time with my little princess and away from work. I have definitely been loving the nice weather and the sun being out. Skylar loves to be outside and playing. This morning she was playing with the rocks and enjoyed throwing them in the drive way (Daddy will love that!)
We are both ready for Daddy to be home and for some family time. I can't wait!
