Our Sweet Baby - 20w

While we don't know whether this little angel is a boy or a girl, I am still more in love than ever. And how could I not be? Look at how sweet and cute he/she is!!!!!
So insane that technology is able to produce something like this. It's hard to believe that baby is between 6-10in and roughly 12oz! What a sweet little angel I have growing inside me!!! :)

Chinese Birth Calendar

I was just online poking around after getting a comment asking if I checked what the Chinese Birth Calendar said about what the sex of this baby is going to be. And the calendar says that the baby should be a boy. Supposedly it is 99% accurate.

But it is still a waiting game. Hopefully we will know more come Aug 23!

And the Sex Is....

WE DON'T KNOW!

As it turns out, this little one growing inside me just doesn't want to share its gender just yet. Not only is it sitting extremely low (the tech had her wand at my pubic bone!)...but we had legs crossed and the cord all sorts of wrapped between the legs. Awesome. Definitely a disappointment to not know, yet very happy to know that baby is healthy and right on track. AND! This time I actually got a good face picture. Skylar hid her face, but not this little nugget. I have to say that this baby is one heck of a cutie for sure!!!!!

So...we will try again at my next appointment the end of August. Until then, I will rest assured that all is going well and on track and enjoy feeling all the fun and crazy movements.

Tomorrow - July 27

Tomorrow is a very big day.

1. Our little boy is turning 5! 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What happened to the little boy in diapers, that was barely talking and toodling around? Now Seth is turning into such a big boy. He is quite the little man. He is such a gentleman. He is still quite the little snuggler and little love. But he is all boy for sure. Loves to play baseball and run around and wrestle. Loves his daddy - daddy is definitely his hero. Loves being a big brother and is good at it. He likes helping and is wanting to be more helpful and have more responsibility around the house. He is such a charming little boy and I love him so very much. I am so proud of him. He is going to be starting kindergarten in just a month and it seriously floors me!

2. We get to find out whether this little bean is a boy or a girl! And Swae, Seth and Skylar get to be there to experience it with us! I am beyond excited. I can't even wait. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight I am so excited!!! I can't say for sure what I think this baby is. The only dream that I have had is that it is a boy. I would like a boy to keep the numbers even, but would be so happy to have another baby girl as well. All I know is that either way I am incredibly blessed and will be happy no matter what.

Baby #2 - Belly Pic 19 weeks

Still feeling great, but definitely getting a pooch! Skylar is starting to rub the belly more and loves on it all the time. I am always telling her that there is a baby in my belly, but not sure if she really understands.

Tonight...

This little baby inside me is moving and kicking up a storm. For the first time I was calm, sitting, and was able to tune into what was happening and sure enough this little one was having a blast moving and a groving! It was so exciting and such a different feeling from the little flutters and I love it!

It is hard to believe that I am almost half way through this pregnancy. I definitely am starting to feel pregnant. Having a little bump growing is a nice little reminder. And I am enjoying the flutters becoming more often and stronger. I am not enjoying the reflux, but am dealing because anything is worth it to bake another perfect baby!

Swae and Seth are starting to focus on the baby more and more. They are sure to kiss the baby every night before bed. Always rubbing, talking, and making sure that I am doing right. Very protective they both are. I have been trying to tell Skylar more and more that there is a baby in my belly. She looks at me crazy but will lay her head on my belly and rub it...could be that she just likes rubbing my skin. Who knows!

We will be finding out whether this baby is a boy or a girl on Seth's 5th birthday - July 27! The kids are beyond excited as they get to be there. They have been set on being able to see their baby on a big screen. I am so happy that they get to be a part of this and finding out will be even more special with them being there. Less than 2 weeks to go. I can't wait!!!!!!!!

I am a little nervous on how Miss Skylar is going to handle a little baby. She is quite the momma's girl and doesn't at all like when someone else is getting my attention. When I was holding my friend's new baby the other day, she had to be right up in my lap and be sure she got my attention. However, she is cute and wants to rub the baby's head and is very gentle. Maybe this is good practice and will help out in the long run.

Overall, I am loving this pregnancy. I am feeling well and loving every experience. I am looking forward to the bigger, stronger movements. I have no idea what this little one looks like or what gender it is, but already, I am so very much in love. I can't wait to hold this little angel, to have our family complete. I am one happy and lucky mommy!!

The belly is definitely starting to grow! I started noticing a change in my body much earlier this time. I kept being told that it was just me that noticed them. I couldn't tell by looking at myself, but just with how much pants were fitting. Pretty ironic that I had gotten myself down into a size 27 and had just bought a few new pairs of jeans to celebrate. While I am back in my 28s, I am hanging on to my cutie jeans and will be working to get in them once this little one comes. Other body changes? My boobs are growing again...always a nice thing. Turns out when I stopped breast feeding Skylar, my boobs shrunk right back to nothing. So I am welcoming a little bust especially with it being bathing suit season.

I started feeling the little one fluttering around about a week ago. Last night while laying in bed, it felt as though those movements were becoming more strong. I can't wait to feel the kicks and rolls and hiccups. I love being pregnant. I am still able to eat everything and not sick. I mostly want healthy foods. I am more into veggies and fruits. Salads always sound delicious. But I still like ice cream and cookies. I am just trying to limit them.

Swae and Seth talk about the baby constantly. And I am pretty sure they argue every day about whether the baby is going to be a boy or a girl. It will be nice to know the sex, so the arguing can stop...at least about the baby! ;) Oh they are also arguing over names. Seth wants one name for a boy and Swae wants another. We still don't have any clue on a name for a girl.

I go to the doctor tomorrow so will have more to report then. Looks like we should be finding out the sex the end of the month. We are shooting for doing it on Seth's birthday since we have the kiddos that day and they have both requested to be there. I think it would be a good little memory and birthday present.

Baby #2

This is our sweet little baby baking at 12 weeks. :) So cute. Hard to imagine that the little bean jumping around on the screen was only two inches long! I am already so in love!!

It's About Time!

We have been without the Internet for well over three weeks. I haven't like it at all. I could access it from my phone, but it is a pain as I can't type nearly as fast on that as I do on my computer. I can only imagine how many unread posts are in my reader. I haven't checked yet and might pass out when I do see the number.

Not only that, but I am long over due with posting about all three of my babies and of course keeping you all updated with this pregnancy. I feel like such a slacker of a mom. Here I am 16 weeks and I haven't posted any belly pictures or written about how I am feeling.

I do have to say, I am glad to be back!
