Why Yes

I do realize I have a blog still. And I do see all the posts accumulating in my reader. I however have been consumed with going to the gym, playing with the babies, and facebook...among all the other things that occupy my time. I am planning on being caught up with some things that take priority and back on soon. And!!! I got a new computer that will allow me to post pictures easier.

Until then...

Skylar not only got little toes painted, she got her EARS PIERCED as well last Saturday! She looks damn cute and there will be a picture of that coming ASAP. I have decided that she is going to be a cute little bumble bee this year for Halloween. Sad thing - she will not be with her sister and brother...and for that, my heart hurts. We will make the best of it though.

Can't wait to catch up with all of you!

Green Beans & More

A hit. I was shocked. Skylar loved them. In fact, she ate the entire thing of them. I was so excited. I was worried she was going to not like them like peas, but she proved me wrong. She wolfed them down. She was getting mad at me for not feeding her quick enough. It was so cute.

So, so far, she likes:
Sweet Potatoes
Carrots
Squash
Green Beans

And! While she HATED peas the first time she tried them, she is coming around. I have continued to feed them to her and it has gotten progressively better. So hopefully, they will grow on her. I am excited to see how well she likes fruits!

Baby princess was super tired tonight. She is all about her bed time at 8pm. And the hour leading up to that she is fussy. The only thing that makes her happy is food, bath, and boob.

Oh, and she is a complete Mommy's girl right now! ....AND!!!! I love it! :)

Ouch

I am freaking sore!!!! But it feels great at the same time. I am weird. I like feeling the pain because then I know I am doing something. However, it isn't fun at all to walk up or down my stairs and sitting on the toilet is a chore in itself!

Three days at the gym under my belt. Today I woke up hurting after the class I took yesterday and was thinking of not going. But I didn't to be a "sissy la la" and sucked it up. I am so happy that I did too! I'm definitely enjoying this trend! Skylar did awesome in the kids club today. The teachers in there love her (can't blame them!).

Tomorrow: Turbo Kick Box
Saturday: Bootcamp

And Sunday...that will be my day of rest.

A New Trend

I started back the gym yesterday. I had to wait until Skylar was six months old so she could go in the little kids club.

I was only there about 45 minutes doing cardio and abs and I could see in the kids club a lot of the time and Skylar was in the walker bouncing all around. When I went in to get her, she was beaming and both teachers commented on what a great baby she is and so very happy.

After that, I felt great and was super excited to go again. So, after dropping Swae at school, we went back again. I wanted to do a class that was an hour long. I had high hopes of making it through. Yea, they were soon crushed when I got pulled out to say that my daughter was having a HUGE meltdown and they couldn't get her to calm down. With twenty minutes left, I walked out. I was sad because I was enjoying, but Skylar was definitely in need. I walked in and she was being held by one of the teachers. She was screaming and arching and flailing all about it. Ugh! It took just a few to calm her down, but at that point, it was time to leave.

Tomorrow the plan is this: feed her before walking in and pray that she makes it through while I work out. I am loving being back in the gym. The plan is to go Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for sure since I am already up and can go right after I drop Swae at school. Then I will pick at least one or two more days to go other than that. I just love the way that it makes me feel. Skylar needs to get on board!

Peas = No Like!

I was hopeful for Skylar to try peas tonight. I really thought it would go well with how well she did with squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes. No such luck at all!! She HATED them. She was literally gagging. And while it wasn't funny, it was. And I was laughing...out loud. Swae came to see what all the fuss was about and she was rolling and wanted to continue to feed her even though Skylar clearly wanted nothing more to do with it!
This was also Swae's first time feeding her! :)
And this is why I was laughing. hahahah! Just looking at the picture cracks me up! Definitely doesn't like them.
I will not give up though and will try again. It is just something new and just not sweet. So...we will keep trying and hope she comes around. If not, there will at least be some cheap entertainment! Just kidding, that's not nice!

Wordless Wednesday - Not Sure of Celery..hahahaha
