Belly Pics - 33 weeks 5 days

As promised, here are the pictures that were taken yesterday.

It's definitely starting to stick out more! I am getting more and more comments on how big it is. Sometimes I want to tell people to shut the f#*k up because they say the same thing every single day. I want to ask them if they thought I would stay little or if they forgot I was pregnant and just what they expected. Then I have to smile because I have a beautiful little girl growing inside me and if I wasn't starting to stick out, I would have something to worry about.
The doctor appointment went well yesterday. There is no chance in hell that I will be getting a face shot of her. The way she is positioned makes it impossible. I am OK with this. At first I was disappointed, but then Eli reminded me how exciting it will be to see her face for the first time. The tech and doctor both say she looks wonderful and healthy. The tech confirmed her position in me that I had imagined in my head. I am happy that she is head down as we draw near to the end of this pregnancy. We got to see first hand why my right ribs are always sore. She had her little foot pressed nice and tight up against them and we got to watch her little toes wiggling. It was too cute! The doctor says I am measuring small (31cm) but I look great. That was good to hear. Everything is right on track. I go back in two weeks then every week after that.
Getting down to the end here people!

Starting My Friday

Since I haven't seen the little ones yet today (not til tonight), I went through some pictures to put a smile on my face. I am happy as can be that it is Friday by the way. This week really has seemed to drag on!

The other night the kids and I took some time to wrestle and play around. Once I started feeling the warning signs of doing too much, I took a break and then heard a little cry. Seth somehow whacked himself on Swae and got a little bloody nose. Kids! Swae was having a blast. Her hair was all cute with low pig tails in her hair, but after playing you would have had no idea that is where they started.

See for yourself! She made sure to make a crazy face to go with her major crazy hair...that stayed this way until bath time. Daddy was impressed!
And here is the monkey making sure we got all the blood out.
Definitely ready for our weekend!

Mrs. Newlywed's Giveaway

About a month ago, I stumbled across a fabulous blog. This woman is young, just married, fun to read, has great fashion, and finds all sorts of great deals for EVERYTHING. What blog you ask??? Misadventures of a Newlywed.

Not only is she all that I mentioned already, but she is having an awesome giveaway...one that I would L-O-V-E to win. She is always posting up pictures of fun stationary that she finds and I am always so jealous of how adorable it all is. While I know I could easily purchase my own, I am beyond thrilled to know that she is offering to give it away!!! So, I am playing along. If you like stationary and want to play along or if you just want someone new to read, check her out!

Sorry To Disappoint!

In case there are any of you wondering when I will be posting my belly pictures, I regret to inform you that I will not be posting any today. First of all, I didn't have time to take any this morning. I will take them today though. Second, I figured I should update with the pictures after my doctor appointment that I will be going to this afternoon. That way I am able to say everything all at once AND you get pictures at the same time. Makes sense to me! So, sorry to disappoint, but they will be up tomorrow.

I am sleepy today. We had a great time last night. The kids and I wrestled for a good half hour, 45 minutes. I love to hear them laugh like they were. Then we had a yummy dinner. I had made a stew and let it cook all day in the slow cooker. When we walked in the house for the first time last night, Swae said, "Oh my goodness, our house smells so good." It was cute. All through dinner both kids said how much they LOVED dinner - always nice to hear. While we were eating, Seth looked at Eli and I and said, "Are we still going to snuggle tonight?" It was cute. I love that they love snuggle time just as much as we do.

I didn't sleep so well last night. I don't know what it was. It wasn't from being uncomfortable or anything. I just didn't. And then at one point I got up to go to the bathroom and then Eli's breathing kept me awake for 45 minutes. I finally went and slept the rest of the night in Seth's bed. This morning, me and the alarm clock had a fight. For getting up late, I did damn good getting us out of the house and was only ten minutes late to work. Not too bad at all!

Today, looking forward to the doctor appointment and u/s. After I have a couple stops to make and then it is off for some much needed quality girl time with Tara! I can't wait. We didn't see each other last week. We already have a splendid dinner planned. It's going to be fabulous as always. Oh and I will be sure to get my butt to bed early as well to help with this tiredness I am feeling!

<3 Wordless Wednesday <3

Couple Videos

Here is one where he isn't singing due to his "bubble" but his little fingers were moving like they should have been! This is a song that he has been singing to me while we make dinner.

And this was the first one I tried taking that got cut off because I had to erase images out of my camera to make room. :( I'm so disappointed I didn't get more on this one. I know for next time though! He is the only "boy" voice you can hear.

This is my first time posting a video on my blog! Not as hard as I thought it would be!

Recital Pictures

I'm telling you, this was one of the cutest things I have ever seen.

Here he is walking in with his class.
Holding his ducky waiting to sing the first song.
Such a goofy look!
He was waving that duck back and forth and singing really loud. It was so cute! The one video I got of it is really short, but you can hear his little voice. I should have thought of DELETING things so I had more space. Darn it!
Singing away!!! They all loved the "Quack, Quack, QUACK!!!" part of the song.
Here he is with his two fishies in hand and holding his bubble. The bubble should have be "released" to sing the song...this didn't happen. I was rolling!
Here his teacher was trying to get him to stop the bubble and sing!
No such luck.
And check out his stance. Everything about this little boy warms my heart and makes me smile.

Calling It a Night

I just realized that my total posts was a terrible number: 666. I couldn't have that, so I am posting to be posting and to not have to see that number anymore.

Tonight was a fabulous night. How could it not be with two wonderful babies! Not only that, Sethie had a recital at daycare. They have been learning and practicing songs. It was honestly one of the cutest things I have ever seen! I will have to post the pictures tomorrow. I got one short video, but my camera battery was dying and the damn thing was acting up. But I got some cute freaking pictures. He definitely is a little ham-bone.

Sad thing was that his mom wasn't able to be there because she had class and the daycare never told her about it. I would have mentioned something, but they told me that they were going to call her. I still should have said something and now I feel bad. Not only that, Eli had one hell of a day today. Something happened with the crane and that cost him two hours this morning. And then something happened this afternoon, throwing them even further behind, causing him not to be able to make it either. It was horrible.

He did however have Swae, me, great grandma, grandma, Mima, and Papa there to watch him in all his cuteness.

We got out of there much earlier than I thought, which meant we got home and baths done earlier than I had originally planned and the babies were asleep just after 7:30. I am beat and I am now off to bed.

Good night all!

....

I will soon be complete. I am walking out the door in few a few to go grab the little ones. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They both aren't feeling good, but just seeing them will make everything right in the world. Plus, Eli and I have tons of love and snuggles to give and are more than ready to give them.

Man, I love Tuesday afternoons!

I Figured It Out

The problem from THIS post that is.

I finally took the time to call Victoria's Secret and see what the heck was going on. Turns out, I am actually the one the ordered the babydoll shirt for myself. The reason that I don't remember this?? I made an order in OCTOBER and that shirt was back ordered. And it just happened that it was no longer back ordered and so they sent it my way. No wonder I didn't remember ordering it. That was THREE months ago!!!!

It was still a nice surprise to get in the mail, even if it was from my own bank account.

"Making Me Happy" Monday

I have been following a blog, Mommy Learns to Blog, and for the last few weeks she has been doing this post. I L-O-V-E it!!! She does such a great job of it. Check her out. And because I like it so much, I want to give it a shot myself. I imagine that I will get better with it as I go...here goes nothing!

~I washed Skylar's bedding and have her crib all put together - it turned out better than I had imagined and I can't wait to lay her down in the crib just to see her precious little self in there!

~I have washed all of my little girls clothes and blankets and have everything put away. She has so many wonderful, cute things. I feel like it will be like playing dress up.

~Not only is all of Skylar's laundry done, so is the rest of it. The only thing that I didn't get to were a few towels. I figure those could wait.

~I cleaned up our babies rooms. I love making their beds all up and organizing their little toys. it makes me feel closer to them when they aren't here with us.

~Apple juice...it is a favorite lately.

~It's not even 6:00pm and I already have a stew ready to put on. It won't be made for tomorrow because we have a recital for Seth to go to, but will be good and flavorful for Wednesday. The babies are going to love it.

~Not only is it not even 6:00pm, but I am in my comfy clothes and resting on the couch. Eli is going to make us hamburgers for dinner tonight.

~The Bachelor is on tonight and so is Gossip Girl. I wonder which one I should watch. Which ever one I don't watch tonight, I will be watching online. Decisions, decisions!

~My close friend is scheduled to have her baby this Friday. She is the one that is just about a month ahead of me, but she wants to have him early because she is scared he is going to be too big if she waits til his actual due date and it will hurt too much. She cracks me up. Regardless, I am so very excited for her. Now I need to get off my ass and send her her little care package.

~My doctor appointment on Thursday that I am really looking forward to.

I have plenty more that makes me happy, but I will leave you all with this. I look forward to doing this from now on.

Happy MONDAY!

Beyond Strange...

Thursday night, Eli went and grabbed the mail. As I was going through it, I couldn't help but notice the Victoria's Secret package that had come. But I knew that I didn't buy anything from there. So I grabbed the little package and saw my name on it. Weird. I opened it to find the cutest top. It almost looks maternity, but isn't. It is like one of those babydoll tops and it ties right under the boobs and is flowy around the middle. Super freaking cute. However, I did not buy this top. I am wearing it today, but it in no way was purchased from my bank account.

So I ask, how did I get such a cute shirt?? I would love to thank who ever got it for me and sent it to me...I just have no one to thank because the only person on the invoice was me. There was no billing information, just the shipping.

Strange huh??

Baby Shower Loot

I just remembered that I never got around to posting pictures from the shower. I am going to have to break it up though. So for now, I will leave you pictures of all the goods we got. Everyone was so generous and wonderful. Going through and washing all this stuff made the anticipation of my baby girls arrival so much more great.

Here is the diaper bag my aunt got me. Could you imagine Eli walking around with this??? I had a diaper bag on my registry and she told me to take it down because she had gotten me a special one. Never in my life did I imagine a diaper bag like this. It is so cute and fun!!!
My good friend Jill got her these little sockies in almost every color. They look like little Mary Jane's. They are just precious!
My grandma made this for her room: "How to Love a Child"...so beautiful!
This is a basket that an aunt of mine did. This is an aunt who married my uncle and has control and jealous issues so bad that my uncle and I have now got ZERO relationship. My family thinks she is trying to get on my good side. I am very thankful for the time that she put into this basket and really like a bunch of what she put in it.
The robe is my favorite. And the little bunny in the corner...giggles when you squeeze it. It's the cutest thing ever. Oh and the little onesies...there is a pink one that has lady bugs on it and it says, "I'm a little lady." Too adorable!
Here is her first little bikini. I forgot to picture the sunglasses that MATCH! She got LOTS of pink...Eli is overwhelmed with PINK!!
This is from Grandma and Papa (Eli's parents).
Eli's mom made the picture to match the zoo animal thing for her room. She did an awesome job!
From my momma. From my mom as well, Skylar's Mima.
From my aunt Debbie. The little elephant blankie is so soft and says, My Mommy Loves Me. ;)

This is hands down one of my most favorite outfits. I bought it awhile ago in a bigger size. My aunt got it in newborn and I am so stoked on it.
More from Grandma and Papa. And more...they are already spoiling the crap out of her!
Yep, the outfit is from them as well. The thing on the left? From my best friend, Tara. I am able to get Skylar's hand and footprint to keep. So thoughtful and wonderful!
The goods from Eli's sister. She also got some diapers and wipes. She has a boy so buying for a girl is way exciting and fun for her.
Some sleep sacks and a brag book. Oh and her changing pad cover and long sleeve onesies.
Cute little binkies courtesy of Grandma and Papa.
These two outfits are from my grandma.
Grandma and Papa...again. Are those the cutest little sockies you have ever seen?? They are TINY!
Bath set from a couple of my aunts, cousins, and grandma.
A diaper bag that Eli can carry around. I will probably end up just getting him a back pack of some sort though.
Not pictured...her bedding, the pack-n-play, a hamper, her lamp, a home made blanket by her great grandma, and there is more. I just can't think of it off the top of my head!
The day was wonderful and I have more pictures that I will share with you all later. I can't believe there is another one of these coming up in less than two weeks!

Comparison

I figured that the comparison of how the living room looked BEFORE the TV stand would really put things in perspective.

So, I give you BEFORE...
And AFTER...
Much more better!

My Sweet Loves

These are my loves that I am missing so much this weekend! Oh how we love them and have been thinking about them all day.

I can't get enough of her beautiful face and gorgeous smile.
And this little hambone, melts my heart! He cracks me up like no other.
These two complete me, complete Eli, complete our family and our life.
And it was after this that we got crazy and were wrestling. What a fun afternoon we all had. Can't wait for Tuesday!!!

A New Purchase

Until last weekend, our TV used to sit on our floor and the cable box and DVD player just set along beside it. It didn't look terrible, but it didn't look great. Since April, we have been talking about getting a stand for the TV and just have never taken the time to go look nor did we really want to spend the money. Last weekend we heard of one of the stores in town going out of business and having good sales. We went and checked it out. We almost got one and then we happened to walk around a bit more and found one that was a million times better! The first one we saw the TV would have just sat on top of it. The one we ended up getting raises the TV up and it looks a million times better. I finally feel like we are doing small things to make our house look so much better. What do you think?

This was taken on my phone and not my actual camera so that would explain the not so good quality!

Gettin' Ready!

Today I am having fun and taking the time to wash all my baby's clothes that she has gotten thus far! I love it. I am getting more and more excited for her arrival. As I am washing and going through them I keep wondering which outfit I should pack to bring her home in! I can't believe that I have to start thinking about that and planning.

SO EXCITING AND FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday 9: What's Cooking

If you want to play, click here.

1. Which meal is the one you cook best?
I would have to say my chicken and broccoli casserole. The kids and Eli tear it up! Oh and they love my spaghetti too.

2. Tell us what you would never eat.
Hhhmmm, not a big fan of raw fish.

3. Is your hometown famous for anything or anybody?
Not that I can think of.

4. Can you play a musical instrument?
I used to be able to play the recorder.

5. Tell us about your second ever lover.

My Husband

I have the best husband ever!

Tonight I was really tired and all about relaxing. I fell asleep waiting for Eli to get home from work because I have been so very tired. Once he got home we chatted for a while. Lately we have been having the longest conversations. The kind where before you know it almost two hours have passed. It is amazing. He is opening up more and more and I couldn't be more thrilled. He made me a little something to eat and then went out in the garage to do something. I let him know I was going to be upstairs taking a bath and he said he would finish up so that he could come up and sit and talk with me.

I have a big bath tub. It is wonderful. However, it takes a lot of water to fill it. Tonight, the water never really got warm enough for me. While it felt good when I first got in, it quickly wore off and I was stating to get cold. My sweet, loving husband then boiled water (like in the olden days!!!!) to put in my bath to keep me warm. That is right. Two big pots of water and then sat there chatting with me even more.

Once I was out he cleaned up a couple of things while I put lotion on and finished getting ready for bed. Then he tucked me in, sat on the bed talking with me even more and tickled my back!

He really is the sweetest thing!

Pediatrician

Today I called around and made appointments for consultations with a couple pediatricians. One is set up for the beginning of February and the other is mid-month. I am really excited for the one that is mid-month. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about the doctors that are in the office (there are three). I know of a few people that take their babies to them and highly recommend them. I got the name of the other one off a card from my doctor's office. I know nothing about them, no one that takes their child to them or anything. But I will go and meet the doctor and that way I have something to compare the other doctor too. It is really overwhelming thinking about lining everything up in preparation for the birth of my sweet baby girl. I just can't wait to have everything lined up and in order so that I don't have to stress or think/worry about it anymore!

Freaking Ass-JACK!

What the hell is wrong with people sometimes!!!!???!?!?? I swear, some people should not be allowed to drive because they are absolute morons. I had someplace to stop after work today. When I pulled into my parking spot, I made sure to pull right in the middle of the spot. There were people on either side of me and there was plenty of room for them and me to get in and out of our cars. That is how you are SUPPOSED to park.

I was in where I needed to be for roughly 45 minutes and when I came out I wanted to bash the car that was parked next to me with a baseball bat - NO JOKE! This stupid ass-jack was parked so freaking close to my drivers side that I couldn't get to my door from the back. I had to walk around in this huge circle (which isn't the problem)...but even trying to get to my door from the front of my car. Even going in that way I had to squish into my vehicle. Not only that, my jacket now has an array of grime and dirt from the ass-jacks vehicle and my own due to there being lack of room.

Here is the kicker. The stupid fucker had NO ONE on the other side of him (or her). NO ONE!!!! There was at least TWO feet on the other side of them. How the fuck do you park that badly??? Not only that, when you are driving a nice freaking car, you would think you would be mindful of leaving room between them and another vehicle. I wanted so bad to leave a nasty little message on their windshield. If I were any bigger, I would not have been able to get into my car.

I hate when people are so disrespectful. I know there are times when you get close to the line when you park and don't notice. But there was no way you couldn't have noticed this. I didn't leave the ass-jack a nasty message. I didn't bash the vehicle with a baseball bat. But I will be sure to be mindful of my own parking job so that no one else has to feel like I did today in the rain with my big pregnant belly getting into my car.

A Giveaway

I am not having it, but Dana at Just Talk is!

I have heard of Yummie Tummie before and the people that are using them LOVE them. So you all should check it out and maybe win something new! :)

Truly Inspiring

I first saw this reading Jodi's blog. It is one of the most touching, inspiring stories ever. I hope you all enjoy. Have a wonderful Friday!

Mary and her husband Jim had a dog named 'Lucky.' Lucky was a real character. Whenever Mary and Jim had company come for a weekend visit they would warn their friends to not leave their luggage open, because Lucky would help himself to whatever struck his fancy. Inevitably, someone would forget and something would come up missing.
Mary or Jim would go to Lucky's toy box in the basement and there the treasure would be, amid all of Lucky's other favorite toys. Lucky always stashed his finds in his toy box and he was very particular that his toys stay in the box.
It happened that Mary found out she had breast cancer. Something told her she was going to die of this disease....in fact, she was just sure it was fatal.
She scheduled the double mastectomy, fear riding her shoulders. The night before she was to go to the hospital she cuddled with Lucky. A thought struck her...what would happen to Lucky? Although the three-year-old dog liked Jim, he was Mary's dog through and through. If I die, Lucky will be abandoned, Mary thought. He won't understand that I didn't want to leave him. The thought made her sadder than thinking of her own death.
The double mastectomy was harder on Mary than her doctors had anticipated and Mary was hospitalized for over two weeks. Jim took Lucky for his evening walk faithfully, but the little dog just drooped, whining and miserable.
Finally the day came for Mary to leave the hospital. When she arrived home, Mary was so exhausted she couldn't even make it up the steps to her bedroom. Jim made his wife comfortable on the couch and left her to nap. Lucky stood watching Mary but he didn't come to her when she called. It made Mary sad but sleep soon overcame her and she dozed.
When Mary woke for a second she couldn't understand what was wrong. She couldn't move her head and her body felt heavy and hot. But panic soon gave way to laughter when Mary realized the problem. She was covered, literally blanketed, with every treasure Lucky owned! While she had slept, the sorrowing dog had made trip after trip to the basement bringing his beloved mistress all his favorite things in life. He had covered her with his love.
Mary forgot about dying. Instead she and Lucky began living again, walking further and further together every day. It's been 12 years now and Mary is still cancer-free. Lucky? He still steals treasures and stashes them in his toy box, but Mary remains his greatest treasure.
Remember....live every day to the fullest. Each minute is a blessing. And never forget....the people who make a difference in our lives are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care for us. If you see someone without a smile today give them one of yours!
Live simply.
Love seriously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly

Belly Shots - 32 weeks 5 days!

I bet you all thought I forgot to post today. Nope, not at all. I took the pictures before leaving the house, uploaded them first thing when I got to work, and then got incredibly busy. The last thing I did before leaving the office to go to my nail appointment was get the pictures on this post and save it so that I could post tonight. I have been wanting to post all night, but I had to wait until I finished all my "thank yous" from the baby shower last weekend. If I didn't, I wouldn't have gotten them done and it would have been a mess. Already, I am up much later than I had anticipated considering I was tired all day and am absolutely exhausted right now.

Anywho, the belly is growing...it is so cute. I can't help but rub on it all the time!

I can definitely tell that my little angel is getting big by her movements. My most favorite time of day with her is bed time. That is when she is in rare form and her movements are the biggest and the longest. I just love it. It doesn't matter if I go to bed early or late, she performs every time. I count on it. It is something that I know I will miss once she is born. There are times when she just takes my breath away. She doesn't like at all when I lean over for any period of time. If I do, she will stick her feet up in my ribs until I straighten out. It cracks me up. Sometimes I do it just so feel her move. I can't believe how much I already love this little girl.
Just over 7 weeks left and I can't even imagine the change that will take place with my belly. But I am ready and excited for it. This has been the most incredible adventure and I know the best has yet to come!
